In many processes the work is in the documents: reading a case file, checking what is missing, summarising the essence, drafting. An AI colleague can prepare that reading work. Your people review the result.

What AI does with your documents
Read, organise, summarise, draft.
Four tasks that come back in almost every document-heavy process.
Make it searchable
PDF, Word, Excel, images and drawings in DWG, DXF or IFC: the platform extracts the text and the data. For drawings that means texts and attributes; dimensions that exist only in the geometry, you provide yourself.
Organise and point out what is missing
Organising documents the way a regulation or your own way of working requires, and showing what is not there yet. VERA does this for the Wkb file, for example.
Summarise and compare
Pulling the essence from a case file or putting documents side by side. A summary is an aid: whoever decides checks the documents themselves.
Draft
A letter, memo or report as a first version. A draft is a proposal: the decision and the signature stay with your people.
By field
Different documents, the same reading work.
LEO
Contracts and legal case files
Searching case files, screening contracts and summarising documents for lawyers and in-house counsel happens in LEO.
Legal document analysis with LEOVERA
Construction files and drawings
Per project you upload drawings, calculations and reports. VERA searches the extracted text and sets it against the articles of the Bbl, the Dutch building regulations.
About VERAIRMA
Policies, audits and registers
With AI suggestions on, the IRMA assistant searches your own documents for risks and proposes risks, measures, process steps and draft policy. Only after an employee approves them do they enter the register.
About IRMABEVER
Council proposals and budgets
BEVER links a proposal, earlier decisions of the same body, the statutory text and the budget annex together. If a figure is not in the source, BEVER says it is not there instead of naming one.

Limits
Where it goes wrong, and what helps.
A language model can make things up
No AI system rules that out entirely. That is why a draft is always a draft, and a person checks it against the documents.
Messy documentation
AI is as good as the documents it reads. Outdated or duplicate documents give outdated or conflicting answers. Tidying up pays off first.
Sensitive data
You decide which documents and systems are connected. Customer data is stored on our own servers in EU data centres. The AI providers contractually do not use your data to train models.
Frequently asked questions.
What is AI document processing?
An AI colleague reads documents, extracts what is needed, organises it and drafts. It is about documents that someone has to read and weigh, such as case files, reports and drawings. A person reviews the result.
Is this the same as OCR or invoice recognition?
No. OCR turns a scan into text; invoice recognition pulls fixed fields from an invoice. We focus on documents that call for judgement. For booking invoices, specialised accounting tools are the better choice.
Which file types are supported?
Among others PDF, Word, Excel, OpenDocument, images (PNG, JPG, TIFF), drawings in DWG and DXF, IFC models and ZIP files.
Does the AI learn from our documents?
The AI providers we work with contractually do not use prompts or outputs to train models. Your documents are stored on our own servers in EU data centres.
How do we start?
With one document flow that takes a lot of reading time. We look at which documents are in it, what needs to come out and who reviews it. Then we configure an AI colleague.
Which pile of documents costs your team the most reading time?
Tell us which documents they are and what needs to come out. We will show you how an AI colleague prepares it.
